Our Mount Kisco showroom does not have an optometrist. It fills prescriptions, makes lenses in its own laboratory and repairs frames, including frames bought elsewhere.

Before you come

A comprehensive examination usually includes dilation, which leaves near vision blurred and eyes light-sensitive for a few hours. Bring sunglasses if you have them, and plan not to drive straight afterwards.

If you have a current prescription or a recent report from another practice, bring it. If you wear contact lenses, bring the boxes or a photograph of them.

What it costs

Clairmont Nichols is out of network with every vision plan. We accept FSA and HSA cards, and the receipt you leave with is fully itemized for out-of-network reimbursement.
